These are pictures of our third Backyard Mission in which we helped a deserving homeowner make repairs to his home free of charge.  Once again the project was a great success.  Volunteers from First Presbyterian Church and First Christian Reformed Church joined together to build a very long backyard fence, paint and repair the front porch and garage, bring in new gravel for the driveway and landscape around the house.

The project took months of preparation, scores of volunteers and the support of local business which donated materials or sold them at cost.  We could not have done this project without the help of so many people.  Kevin, our deserving homeowner was amazed at how much work was done in the two days we were on site.

Special thanks go to our contractor on site, Mark Labadie, and to Ernie and Cherie Jenkins who supervised all the landscaping.  We could not have done this project without them!  Thanks, of course to Barb Sargent, our project coordinator and to her team of volunteers!
