Recognizing that parents are the prime spiritual influence in the lives of their children, we are working toward creating avenues in which parents and children can grow in faith together to better maximize the spiritual development of our youth. This includes a monthly Family Service where Mike, our minister, preaches to the children and teens and the music is decidedly less traditional. We recognize that far from being the “church of the future”, children and young people are a vital part of the family of God here and now! We welcome children’s participation in church life and the worship service in particular. We are thankful for our youthful readers, singers, musicians and dancers.

We have several programs at First Church geared to different ages:

1.      Children’s Garden Sprouts – birth to age 4 years

2.      Children’s Garden – JK – Grade 5

3.      Senior Youth Class (S.Y.C.) – Middle School - Grade 6 - 8; High School Grade 9 - 12

4.   Youth Group - Grade 6 - 12
